adminTehran, IRNA – Iran’s Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian has said that the Islamic Republic intends to boost relations with the Azerbaijan Republic in all fields.
The top diplomat made the comment on Wednesday as he hosted Azerbaijan President’s Special Representative Khalaf Aly Oghlu Khalafov.
Referring to the recent return of Azerbaijan’s sovereignty over Nagorno-Karabakh, Amirabdollahian stressed the importance of the beginning of a new chapter of regional cooperation in promoting peace and economic development in the Caucasus region.
