TEHRAN (Tasnim) – The headquarters for development of stem cell sciences, technologies and knowledge-based economy in cooperation the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs intends to set up cell therapy centers and export relevant equipment to neighboring countries.
Secretary of Vice Presidency for Science and Technology’s Department of Development of Stem Cell Sciences and Technologies Amir-Ali Hamidieh made the comments on Tuesday in a joint meeting held at the venue of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the presence of a number of envoys of Iran in some countries and a number of CEOs of companies active in the stem cells.
Supporting the development and sharing technologies in the field of stem cells and interacting with the target countries aimed at creating the opportunity of developing joint research and training cooperation were emphasized in this meeting, he maintained.
He seized this opportunity to thank officials at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in establishing constructive interaction with countries of the region and added that the headquarters of vice presidency for science and technology’s department of development of stem cell sciences, technologies and knowledge-based economy intends to take giant strides in line with developing international cooperation, transferring technical know-how, launching stem therapy centers and exporting stem therapy equipment to neighboring states.
