adminHangzhou, IRNA – Iran’s Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports Kioumars Hashemi has met with his Chinese counterpart Gao Zhidan and discussed sports-related issues.
During the meeting held on Wednesday, Gao welcomed Hashemi to China, saying his country’s success in holding the Asian Games was possible thanks to the support of countries like Iran.
The Iranian minister, for his part, congratulated China for its successful holding of the Asian Games.
He also said Iran welcomes Chinese experts and engineers to provide advice on the construction of sports facilities, including one ordered by President Raisi in the capital Tehran.
